The UV\/Vis spectrometers of PG instruments are available in different configurations however most can be categorized into either single beam, split beam or double beam types. A clear advantage of the double beam optical system is the improvement in measurement stability and drift precision as a result of having a real-time feedback of both the reference and sample signals.<\/p>\n<p>The UVWin software is separated in four workspaces: spectral, quantitative, kinetic and photometric analysis.
